FULL MOON IN PISCES 2022

Healing is a mystery.

This full moon takes place in Virgo and Pisces. These two signs represent the mysteries of healing. Virgo is precision, like the surgeon removing just enough cancerous tissue, or a powerful drug or radiation; too little and malignancy is still ongoing, too much and the patient is dead.

Pisces is about a non-linear unquantifiable journey of healing, like music, yoga, martial arts, prayer, submission, meditation, travel, rituals, and anything that is holistic rather than allopathic.

Mercury, ruler of Virgo wants to perceive patterns, use logic, become rational, analyze, and discriminate. Neptune ruler of Pisces works by clouds, mist, compassion, confusion before clarity, the oceanic realms, and higher sources.

This full moon marries and opens the gates of healing thru the antipodes mentioned above. Every full moon [‘maximum illumination’] brings seemingly opposing forces into light. Like any marriage after the vows comes the realization that two beings, two states, seem opposite, until they are complementing. To carry on the metaphor, two people can call it quits because the differences opened up are a widening gulf, or they can mutually decide to benefit each other, as in a breakage and failure, or a synthesis of the whole being more than all of the parts.

Think of two dangerous gases hydrogen and oxygen being brought together. No one could imagine that when explosively ‘married’ in the proper proportions they give birth to water, which universally gives birth to all.

During this full moon, it is good to see and feel that there is something beyond our frail human powers that can provide light in the midst of what can feel like a journey thru darkness. Stay strong, be brave, and wait for the signs.
